about me!

I’ve always been a creative person and enjoy exploring ideas to see where they go. I grew up in Hawke’s Bay as a high school boarder, living around 170 other students who were all driven and passionate about achieving their goals, which was a really inspiring environment to grow up in.

Before starting my tertiary study, I worked in hospitality for three years, which helped me build confidence in myself and my decisions. When I began studying, I explored as many creative courses as I could before discovering my love for 3D animation. I was drawn to how challenging it is and how it combines multiple areas of design into one creative process.

I particularly enjoy lighting and rendering, as I like focusing on the details that make a scene feel polished and pretty. A lot of my projects also tend to have a slightly playful or humorous tone, which is something that naturally finds its way into the work I create. I also worked as the Producer on one of my short films, which I really enjoyed. I liked being involved in the bigger picture of the project and helping organise the team so everything could come together smoothly.
